Purbanchal University offers a Bachelor of Science in Medical Lab Technology in a semester system with a four-year duration. This program provides theoretical and practical knowledge of medical lab technology. It provides knowledge in the fundamentals of medical lab science, anatomy and physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, immunology, molecular cell biology, biotechnology, clinical pharmacology, health and disease, epidemiology, forensic medicine, bioinformatics, lab management and quality control, research methods, project work, seminars, and internships. It covers details of clinical lab science, diagnostic techniques, and lab management and thus prepares for health care diagnostics.
