Rainas Polytechnic Institute offers a three year Diploma in Forestry program of CTEVT. This program aims to prepare technical human resources for improving the community's livelihood. It provides knowledge on basic science and fundamentals of forestry, core forestry areas such as wildlife protected area management, integrated watershed management, community forestry, forest measurement, management, harvesting, and agroforestry. It also has a work experience program to work in actual forest-based community programs.

It provides a range of knowledge from agriculture production, marketing, agribusiness management. It allows to develop competencies in agriculture related enterprises and provide field-based experiences. It includes production of various crops, soil management, conservation and environment science, post-harvest technology, horticulture, aquaculture and fisheries, and a work experience program. It allows them to develop skills to thrive in marketing and finance, livestock and crop supply, crop management, agriculture merchandising and managing firms.
