Overview
Since 1960, Scheer Memorial Hospital is serving in Banepa and it is so much popular around the area that it is also called as Banepa hospital. It started its service as a one-room clinic in a mountain village with no road and electricity. Now it has grown bigger and stronger helping poor people in need. Scheer Memorial Nursing College provides best education service and makes them realize need of health institutions in rural area of Nepal. Patients are never turned away from Scheer Hospital due to lack of money so people arrives in here even by walking for days with patients in their piggy back. More than 35% of the cases are from charity because people are not able to pay even 35 cents for doctor consultation. The hospital and college has been a great relief for people of Banepa. Scheer Memorial Nursing College is in affiliation with Kathmandu University (KU). Faculty members are very dedicated and professional in their work.

Admission Procedure
- Interested candidates must have completed 17 years of age.
- They must have completed their plus two level or equivalent recognized by University with minimum of 50% or more marks in English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
- An entrance exam is conducted by KU in which minimum of pass marks should be acquired.
- Then interview is taken and Scheer Memorial Nursing College selects capable students for enrollment in the course which is a total of 20 seats.
