Shree Medical and Technical College was established in 2007 by the team of educational enthusiasts. SMTC (Shree Medical and Technical College) is located at Chitwan in a peaceful environment. This college is affiliated with Purbanchal University and Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). Teaching faculties of this college is well qualified and have a long experience in their respective fields. At present SMTC operates programs such as: Bachelor in Pharmacy, Bachelor of Public Health, Bachelor of Nursing, Port Basic Nursing (PBN), Certificate in Nursing-Staff Nurse and Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology. Major objective of Shree Medical and Technical College is to produce competent technical and vocational workforce who can work as a medical professional including pharmacy. SMTC is also dedicated in providing quality education to students and carrying out research.

Bachelor in Pharmacy:
The core objective of this course is to produce knowledgeable pharmacists as required by the country. This course provides required knowledge and skills to the graduates so that they can be capable of working in research and development of new drugs.

Eligibility:
- Candidates need to have passed plus two levels with minimum of 50% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics.
- Candidates also need to pass entrance examination taken by Purbanchal University and they will be selected on the basis of merit list.
Bachelor of Public Health:
The minimum time required to complete this course is four years. Main aim of this course is to produce medical workers who can deliver public medical services needed for the country. Students can work in following field after graduation:
- Health Organization
- Nepal government
- Local development sector
- Research sector
- Different NGOS and INGOS
Eligibility:
Candidates need to have passed certificate level in general medicine or ten plus two level with biology with minimum of second division marks to get admission at Shree Medical and Technical College in this level.
