Overview
Surkhet campus is one of the constituent of Tribhuvan University in far and mid-western development region of Nepal and was established in 1991 A.D. At first its location was in Nepalgunj but there was lack of transportation and geographical situation was inappropriate for running classes so they transferred college to Surkhet. Now college is in good shape to provide quality education. At first college offered non-credit courses to girls which were not suitable for University programs and were phased out gradually. College is now running 10 master programs and 24 bachelor programs. Faculty members are talented, experienced and up to their tasks.
This campus provides bachelor degree program in English, Nepali, Math, Health, Population, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Early Childhood Development, Educational Planning and Management, Science Education, ICT Education and One Year Bachelor. Master's degree program includes Educational Planning and Management, Nepali Education, Curriculum and Evaluation, Health Education, English Education and Mathematics Education.

Facilities
College has a huge area with 28 buildings including hostel, class room, library, residential, administrative, science and ICT lab and cafeteria. Campus also provides facility of 70 computers, 5 multimedia projectors and electronic equipment for ICT friendly classroom. Many programs are organized by college every year like seminar, cultural program, annual program and sports competitions. Educational tour, college visit and picnic are organized as well. Internal assessments, presentations and assignments are listed in academic activities to help in scoring good marks in board examinations. Sports ground is available for playing football, basketball, badminton, cricket, volleyball, table tennis and many more. Cafeteria serves health snacks at nominal prices. College premises is very peaceful, greenery and clean. Transportation facility is provided by Tata Sumo jeep and motorbike.
