Overview

The Master in Crisis Management is a two-year, four-semester, 63-total-credit-hour program of Tribhuvan University. It provides knowledge, skills, and qualities from academic studies to address the complex challenges of disaster and crisis. It takes lessons from environmental science, earth science, sociology, law, technology, and public health fields, along with advanced technologies like remote sensing and information and communication technology, for initiating response and decision-making strategies. It develops leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team-based skills while working in high-pressure situations.

The main objective of Master in Crisis Management studies is to provide knowledge to produce intelligence who can engage in diverse areas pertaining crisis and help manage it through sustainable efforts in the long run.

Admission Requirements in Master in Crisis Management Studies

The admission requirement for the Master in Crisis Management Studies is that one should have completed Bachelors degree in any discipline with minimum second division and pass the entrance exam conducted by Institute of crisis Management studies. Those waiting for final exam results and passed previous exam results can also apply provisionally. Documents such as transcripts, character and transfer certificate, copy of migration citizen certificate, copies of passport size photos are required.

Eligibility

The eligibility of Master in Crisis Management Studies program is that one should have completed Bachelor degree in any discipline recognized by Tribhuvan University with second division marks and pass the entrance exams.

Total cost for Nepalese students: Rs 515000.
For SAARC country students, Rs 824000,
For international students from other countries, USD 10000.
