Overview
Tribhuvan University, Institute of Forestry, offers a two-year Master of Science in Community Forestry program. This program provides community forestry management knowledge and research skills for scientific research in community forestry. It allows you to plan, initiate, and develop forestry-based enterprises and provide consultancy services to organizations. It allows scientific research to meet gaps in this field. By learning this program, knowledge can be generated in the areas of sustainable forest management, communities in forest conservation, natural resource management plans, ecology, biodiversity and ecosystems, remote sensing in forest monitoring, socioeconomics, and policy-related issues mitigated.
Objectives of MSc in Community Forestry
To produce well trained practically equipped manpower to initiate and develop forestry enterprises and conserve the forests and natural resources from the education and skills from this program.
Admission Requirements in MSc in Community Forestry
Should have Bachelors four years degree in Forestry program of Tribhuvan University or any other board recognized by Tribhuvan University with 50 percent marks in aggregate are eligible.
Eligibility
Should have atleast four years Bachelor of Science Forestry degree from T.U. or any other board recognized by T.U. with fifty percent aggregate marks can apply.
Fee Structure
Public College: Total cost Rs 150000 to Rs 250000
Private Colleges: Total cost Rs 300000 to Rs 500000
Career and Scope
Master of Science in forestry have scope in technical fields such as foresters and forestry technicians and conservation scientist.
