Overview

Bachelor of Arts in Social Work is a four-year academic program under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Tribhuvan University. This program prepares generalist social workers with knowledge and skills generalist social workers to fulfill the contemporary needs of the country and the world. It provides in-depth knowledge of the social work field with theory and practical studies. It provides knowledge from psychology, case studies, policy and welfare, developmental research methods, and academic writing areas as per the requirements of the curriculum of Tribhuvan University.

Objectives

  • The objectives for learning the Bachelor of Arts in Social Work program are:
  • To prepare general skilled human resources for social work in the Nepalese context

Admission Requirements

Must have higher secondary level Plus2, PCL or any, and appear and pass an entrance exam of one hour duration by the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
