MEd Nepali Language Education | TU

Master of Education in Nepali language is two years post graduate program which gives emphasis on advanced Nepali language teaching methodologies, curriculum development, assessment techniques, educational research for Nepali language education in primary and secondary level. Each student studying MEd Nepali language program are required to complete classroom teaching, intern and curriculum evaluation of Nepali language subject.

Objectives of MEd Nepali Language Education

The objectives of studying Master of Education program in Nepali language are:

  • To understand theory and practical knowledge aspects of teaching Nepali language
  • Develop critical thinking
  • to build instructional strategies and methodologies of Nepali language teaching
  • Foster professional development and leadership skills of Nepali language educators
  • Prepare students to make contributions in enhancing Nepali language education practices and policy making.

Admission Requirements in MEd Nepali Language Education

Tribhuvan University requires 70 percent attendance in each subject and in semester system 80 percent to be able to appear final examinations.

Eligibility

Must have completed 69 credit hours in professional and elective course in each specialization area for obtaining Masters degree in Nepali Language education.

Career and Scope

The scope of this program is producing Nepali language teachers with sound knowledge of Nepali language teaching profession in secondary and primary schools.
