Overview

Tribhuvan University Central Department of Sociology, Kirtipur offers Master of Art in Sociology program. It is a two years, four semester program which provides theories and methods of sociology. It delves into the study of human behavior, social structures, institutions and cultural dimensions and their complexities in a broader sense. It develops values of human rights, social justice and also provides skills for data collection, analysis in the field of research. It prepares social scientists, policy analysts and advocates of rights and justice and also for the projects of global institutions.

Admission Requirements

Must have a Bachelor's degree from any University recognized by Tribhuvan University in Social Science, Science, and appear entrance exam and secure a minimum qualifying score on merit basis.
