Objectives of Post Basic Bachelor Nursing
The main objectives of PBBN are as follows:
- This program intends to prepare nurses having ability to work as basic and middle level nurse in different professional platform.
- This program intends to develop nurses having ability to train managers and supervisors in community care center and hospitals.
- This program intends to prepare qualified graduates having ability to conduct general research in the theoretical, practical and clinical aspects.
- This program intends to develop nurses having capacity to make an autonomous judgment in related issues; function in leadership positions in different related issues.
Admission Requirements in Post Basic Bachelor Nursing
Admission Criteria:
The candidates should pass entrance test conducted by Institute of Management. The candidates are selected on the basis of merit list based on the marks of entrance exam.
Entrance exam: Total Marks: 100 for Science, 50 for English, 15 for Health and GK 15, and 20 for Mathematics.
Eligibility for Admission:
The elibiility criteria for the Post Basic Bachelor Nursing program are as follows:
- The students must have to pass Proficiency Certificate Level Nursing from University recognized by TU or institutes recognized by TU.
- The students must have to pass minimum of 50% marks.
- The candidates must have minimum 2 years of experience after completion of PCL nursing.
