Master of Science Engineering, Geology is two years program of Tribhuvan University which provides study and knowledge of engineering, geological conditions which have the effects of construction of dams, tunnels, highways, water resource Management, large scale engineering projects and produce manpowers to fulfill the demands of human resources in these fields.
To produce educated and skilled manpower who have attributes to work in Engineering, Geology to meet the demands of industry and academia.
Should have passed BSc Geology program from Tribhuvan University, have the prescribed geological field training in BSc level. Other Universities recognized by Tribhuvan University are also eligible.
The possible career scopes for MSc Engineering Geology are Geotechnical Engineer, Mining Engineer, Geologist, Environmental Consultant, Geothermal Engineer.
