Grade 11 and Grade 12 Examination Routine from HISSAN

Higher Secondary Association Nepal (HISSAN) has published the examination routine of grade 11 and grade 12 for the year 2074 BS .According to the routine, examination starts on 073/11/25 and ends on 074/12/05 for the grade 12.For grade 11, examination starts on 074/12/18 and ends on 074/12/29.

Examination time:
1. Management, Education and Humanities stream: 7 am to 10 am
2. Science Stream: 11:30 am to 2: 30 pm.
 

 

TU publishes results of MA Second Year Sociology/Anthropology, Rural Development, Geography and Gender Studies

Tribhuvan University office of the controller of examination, Balkhu has published final examination results of following Masters Level Second Year Subjects under the faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
-MA Second Year Sociology/Anthropology
- MA Second Year Geography (Back)
-MA Second Year Rural Development (Back)
-MA Second Year Gender Studies

 

Saturday’s IELTS examination cancelled on police orders

Nepal Police directed the British Council to submit question and answer sheets of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examination, a popular English proficiency test examination. Based on the directives from Metropolitan Police Range, Teku, the British Council on Saturday cancelled its IELTS examination due to suspected breach of IELTS confidentiality in Nepal.

 

Nepal to introduce aeronautics engineering in cooperation with Chinese university

The official announcement was Nepal is soon introducing aeronautics and astronautics engineering program at the universities for the first time in cooperation with a Chinese University. Tribhuvan University (TU) and China’s Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in Kathmandu, academicians said this will enable the Nepali students to study aeronautics and astronautics engineering in the country. The agreement of partnership to this effect will be signed between Nepali and Chinese academic institutions.

 

30,000 posts of permanent teachers vacant for years

The government has not appointed even a single teacher at public schools through open competition since the last two decades. Officials at the Ministry of Education say that the government’s reluctance to immediately open fresh vacancies for school teachers is just a ploy to appoint temporary teachers under the influence of political leaders. It was reported the government has not held open competition since 1996.

 

Nepal Open University set to launch master's degree programme

Nepal Open University is all set to launch a Master’s degree programme from the upcoming academic session which starts from March. The university will also run online classes for the students. The university offers Master’s degree course in Pedagogy Science and the online classes will be starting from the second week of March. The university officials said if everything went as planned they would also launch M. Phil programme in education and Master’s degree programme in IT.
