Entrance exam open for TU Bachelors in Information Technology (BIT) for 2080

Tribhuvan University's Institute of Science and Technology (TU IoST) is currently accepting applications for the entrance examination for admission to the Bachelor's in Information Technology (BIT) program for the academic year 2080. Prospective candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to complete the application form and submit it to any of the affiliated constituent campuses. Application for entrance examination can be filled online from the website https://iost.tu.edu.np. Application form submission deadline (Double fee): Ashwin 06, 2080 (September 23, 2023) to Ashwin 09, 2080 (September 26, 2023)

Eligibility to study BIT-Tribhuvan University

Students who have passed Proficiency Certificate (PCL) Level or Equivalent Examination from any faculty taking subjects like English and Mathematics or Computer (students who have studied maths or computer and English) subject of 100 pass marks and secured at least second division can apply for BIT entrance.
Students who have passed 12 from either a Higher Secondary or Secondary School from any faculty taking subjects like English and Mathematics or Computer Science with a maximum score of 100/100. In these subjects, students must have attained at least a C grade. For all other subjects, a passing grade is required, which should correspond to at least a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 1.6, with a final Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 1.8.
Passed A level examination (studying English and Mathematics or Computer subject of 100/100 marks) securign D Grade (with or without small letter).
Passed Three Years Diploma in second division from CTEVT by studying English and Mathematics or Computer with 100/100 marks each.
