Central Management Admission test (CMAT) is entrance exam which is annually being conducted by Tribhuvan University Faculty of Management for admissions in Bachelor programs of Management

Written Exam
This year also the CMAT exam like the usual will take place on of 90 minutes duration with 25 questions which carry 100 marks. Candidates need to obtain 40 percent marks to pass and qualify.
Format
Format of CMAT exam is:
- Written exam of 90 minutes of altogether 100 objective questions
- Full marks 100
- Pass marks 40
- Interview after obtaining cut off point in CMAT exam by the College
Merit List
Merit list will be prepared on the basis of:
- 60 percent marks in CMAT entrance exam
- 30 percent in Plus2 or equivalent
- 10 percent in the interview.

Quantitative section
Remainder, average, ratio and proportions, percentage, substitution, set theory, defined function, fraction and decimal, matrices and determinants, sequence and series, unitary method, indices, digits and age, permutation and combination, simple and compound interest, profit and loss, commission, tax and VAT, HCF, LCM, Probability, Quadratic equation, statistics, log and exponent
Logical reasoning
Odd one out, type of relations, figures and relations, argument and flow chart, pure logic, common sense logic and guest logic
General awareness
Current affairs business economy, sports and politics, management theories, science and literature, interesting facts/current facts
Eligibility
CMAT exam eligibility:
Candidates should have minimum score of second division marks in Plus2, PCL or equivalent discipline
Minimum D plus grades in 11 and 12 with CGPA 1.8 or more
Those waiting for Grade 12 and have passed Grade 11 can apply provisionally. At the time of admission, they should submit pass certificate of grade 12
