The Institute of Banking and Management Studies is located in Bagbazar, Kathmandu, opposite the Padma Kanya Campus.

The Institute of Banking and Management Studies has been providing excellent education since its establishment. The business world of the country has been experiencing a rising demand for vibrant and innovative business professionals for the country’s economic development. Keeping this in mind, the institution is committed to generating vibrant and innovative business professionals to meet the rising demand for the economic development of the country by delivering world-class education to the learners through reputed academicians, professionals, and entrepreneurs of the country. The Institute of Banking and Management Studies is well aware that theoretical concepts or education alone are not effective and must not concentrate on providing simply theoretical knowledge but also equally realistic concepts so that everyone can learn to create effective solutions to all management situations. Because of this, the overall academic course of the institution has been designed to contain 50% extensive classroom coaching, 25% research exposure, and the remaining 25% practical industry exposure. The curriculum thus has a high international perspective, which prepares students to lead, manage, and succeed in today’s competitive business world.

The institute has been providing excellent education in two different courses and levels. The institution has been running four years of courses semester-wise.

• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.

The main objective of the Institute of Banking and Management Studies is to generate leaders for the business world by focusing on a modified course curriculum, synchronous teaching methodology, and inculcating life skills and field knowledge.
