Kathmandu Model College (KMC) was established in 2000 A.D. and located in Bagbazar. It has always been working hard for quality education, and in the course of many years, it has carved out for itself a great place at the summit of the best college in the country. KMC repeats its focus on dedication, passion, and self-control as the only reasons for its steady and impressive growth. KMC has been sounding the same way about quality education. It has been communicating studies as per the demand of time and successfully growing like a tree under the successful management team and the leadership of the principal, Professor Dr. Mohan Prasad Lohani, former chairperson of the Central Department of English at TU and a former peacekeeper.

KMC was established with everyone's effort by reputed college professors and professionals who possess cutting-edge knowledge in their fields. The day and night effort of these educated people has led them to get 100% results in the board exams of NEB and those of T.U. They have been successful in running the higher secondary level and bachelor level programs. Currently, KMC is offering science, management, and humanities at ten plus two levels. Moreover, KMC makes an effort to ensure that their major duties include sincere studies and that parents and guardians encourage their children to do the same.

Facilities

Besides being an excellent center of learning, Kathmandu Model College provides various facilities to the students. There are separate buildings for different faculties with a calm and peaceful environment for studying, giving the student the impression that studying is in the air. KMC also has a fully furnished library with lots of books and other study materials in the related fields of courses provided by it to fill with knowledge. Scholarships

Kathmandu Model College has been providing scholarships to deserving students so far. It takes Plus 2 grades (GPA) and entrance exam scores in the BCA entrance exam into consideration for scholarship with a percentage off in tuition fees. Also, semester-wise performance and a full GPA will further reduce the study cost for completion of this program.

Our promoted team members have proven educational entrepreneurship track records. We also run other sister organizations under the umbrella of KMC Educational Network. We have collaborations with different business and social sectors and are bridging the gap between education and industry demands accordingly.
