Landslide obstruct Muglin-Narayanghat, buried few vehicles
Dry landslide hit Muglin-Narayanghat road section hard, burying few vehicles under the debris and killing one. According to the Chitwan District Police Office, the landslide that occurred at 10:45 am in Ghumaune buried one bus, truck, car and five motorcycles.
Police officer Deepak Thapa said ‘we have rescued two injured and send them for treatment’. Few people are suspected to be under debris and efforts are on to get them out. Police reach the sight immediately after the incident to rescue. Vehicular movement has been obstructed since few hours.
