NAST(National Academy of Science and Technology)

National Academy of Science and Technology or NAST College was established in 2057 B.S. (2000 A.D). It is also known as Dhangadi Engineering Campus as it is located in Dhangadi Nepal. It is the first engineering college in the mid-western and far-western development region affiliated with Pokhara University. It initially started only one bachelor program in computer engineering and later it added three more bachelor programs. Faculty members are highly experienced, qualified, and dedicated in their work. Students will acquire proper guidance and supervision from the faculty members at NAST College.

NAST College provides bachelor degree in B.E. Computer, B.E. Civil, BBA, and BCA programs.

Scholarships at NAST

• Students securing 80 percent and above in higher secondary level will get 100 percent scholarship, between 75-79 percent will get 50 percent scholarship in admission fee and monthly fee, between 70-74 percent will get 25 percent discount and 60-69 percent will receive 10prcent discount at NAST College.
• Entrance toppers of each program will receive a 50 % discount on one semester only in tuition fees.
• Semester toppers securing grades between 3-3.79 will get a 50 percent discount on tuition fees for one semester and students securing more than 3.8 will get a 100 percent discount on tuition fees for one semester.
• University provides full scholarship for two students every year in which students passing their SLC from community schools and passing test exams for scholarships can apply.

Admission Procedure

• Students must have secured a minimum of second division marks in plus two level or equivalent recognized by PU in the science stream for applying to engineering courses at NAST College.
• Students must have secured a minimum of the second division in the management and science stream for applying to the BBA course and any stream for the BCA course.
• Students should appear in the entrance and oral examination administered by NAST College or University authorities.
