British College brand new BHM course in Nepal

The British College is very excited to announce the launch of the BSc (Hons) Hospitality Business Management - a brand new course starting in partnership with Leeds Beckett University (UK), this winter 2020.

The British College already has an exemplary reputation for business courses, so it is excited to now be working with an incredible faculty as it enters into the field of Hospitality. The 4 year BHM programme aims to engage, enable, and challenge our students to become creative, entrepreneurial, and critically informed dynamic graduates, who can progress to further study within hospitality business management. Alternatively, after completing the BHM, students will be ready to enter straight into the world of work.

Hospitality is currently the world's second largest employment sector, expected to generate nearly seven million jobs per year. Our graduates will be trained as specialists in their chosen field of work, whether that be Hospitality and Tourism, Events and Entertainment, or the Luxury Market. With opportunities in hotels, resorts, catering, banks, cruises, aviation and more - this really is a hospitality degree without boundaries.

Central to the course is the strong link between theory and practice. Highly qualified faculty members run small classes to ensure one to attention in lectures, seminars, and tutorials. TBC also boasts a brand new state of the art practical arts area, inclusive of a kitchen, restaurant and reception - for students to enjoy workshops and practical with the latest technology and industry standards. In this simulated environment, students will practice fine dining service, culinary arts, front office, housekeeping, and more.

As a part of the course, students will also take part in field work with our industry partners, where they will learn to solve challenges and seize opportunities that occur in the real world. Furthermore, they will have the chance to get some hands-on experience with a 12 month internship, which we will help to organize with a top international company.
