The Nobel Medical College teaching hospital affiliated with Kathmandu University is located in the Eastern part of Nepal in Kanchanbari, Biratnagar. Established in the year 2007, it imparts international standard education and has been approved and recognized by Nepal Medical Council. Nobel Medical College's mission has been to teach a comprehensive approach to health care to develop compassionate, community-minded physicians and healthcare workers who can administer hospitals daily and save patients' lives. Inside its huge building and spacious Compound there are well-equipped lecture/ theatre halls, an adequate number of teaching-learning equipment, tutorial halls, demo rooms, laboratories, seminar halls, a modern library, multi-functional modern skill laboratories, mess/canteen facilities, functional Medical Education Department and other allied health programs as per norms and standards of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, CTEVT, NHPC and Nepal Pharmacy Council. Inside the teaching hospital services that run frequently are Outpatient service, inpatient service, 24-hour Emergency service, Laboratory service, Specialty and subsidized services.
Programs that run inside the Nobel Medical College teaching hospital are MD/MS in all specialties, MBBS, BDS, BSc. Nursing, and BNS. Besides, there are courses such as PCL-Nursing staff Nurse, PCL Medical Lab Technology, PCL Radiography, PCL Dental Hygiene, and Diploma in Pharmacy. Nobel Medical College truly works toward producing Doctors of tomorrow’s Nepal. At present, 115 students are undertaking medical and para-medical courses. There are 1300 both teaching and non-teaching staff taking care of medical education needs.
