KU, SOE also provides Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering course. It is four years eight semesters program of Kathmandu University. It is grouped into two areas Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering in Communication of total 150 credit hours and Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Power and Control of total 150 credit hours. Their course is more categorical and rigorous to produce Electrical Engineers in Electronics Industries and Hydropower and thermal Plants.
