Takshashila Academy

Takshashila Acdemy was established way back in 1998 AD as an educational institution for providing platform to gain high quality education. It is located in Samkhusi, Kathmandu.The Academy in as undertaking of The Takshashila University which was a center of learning even before the incarnation of Lord Buddha. Takshashila has been accredited and certified by the National Examination Board (NEB) and offers Plus Two (+2) Science, Management, Humanities and Law programs to their Students. It also offers Bachelor in Business Studies (BBS) program affiliated under Tribhuvan University (TU).

Why Takshashila ?

Takshshila Academy has been a pioneer of Higher Secondary Education since its establishment. The Academy aims at developing honesty, turthfulness and courage among the Students. The graduates from Takshashila are well developed in the virtue of self-discipline and self confidence. The main objective of the Academy is to make the Students adaptable tothe challenges arising in the 21st century and also tecach the Students about the techniques of Research and Development which will help in their Higher Studies.

Scholarships at Takshashila

• Full Scholarship will be provided to the Entrance Topper
• Full Scholarship on Admission Fee will be given to the Students playing National Level Games. . (Required Documents are Necessary)
• Full Scholarship on Admission Fee will be given to Martyrs and Marginalized Family. (Required Documents are Necessary)
• Other Various Scholarship Schemes will be provided to the deserving Students.

• Students will be provided with occasional Guest Lectures of renowned Professionals from Nepal and Abroad (India, UK, USA and Australia).
• Special Medical and Engineering Entrance preparation classes.
• High Level Counselling for the Students for higher studies and Career growth by Prof. Dr. Jaya Raj Acharya (Former UN Ambassador).
• Teaching-Learning through extra tutorial classes and project works.
• Transcendental Meditation (TM) by a trained TM teacher.

Additional Information

Admission at Takshashila:

• Those Students who have cleared SEE with either A+, A, B+ or B Grade are eligible for Admission in Class XI.
• No Student can enroll themselves in Takshashila without passing the Entrance Examination.
• Oral Interviews will be conducted after the Entrance Examination and the Parents need to necessarily be present for the course of Interview.
• Female Students and Students from Marginalized Community will be given special priority during the Admission procedure.
