Tribhuvan University Bachelor of Humanities now a four year program:

Tribhuvan University Faculty of Humanities and Social Science has turned the three years humanities course in Bachelor’s degree program now into four years. The board of the Faculty of Humanities and Social science had decided this during the meeting. All other Bachelors level program of Tribhuvan University has been converted to four year program. Prof.Dr. Shiv Lal Bhushal Dean of Faculty of Humanities and Social Science said that Bachelor of Humanities was made four year to meet at par to the international standards of academic program. He also pointed out the evaluation criteria will be based on the ratio of external 70 percent and internal 30 percent. He said that internal assessment was also crucial and admission on the lieu of start of examination will no longer take place in Tribhuwan University, Kirtipur. The total marks for BA program earlier was 1500 now after getting converted to four year the total points will be 2000.
