Overview

Aadikavi Bhanubhakta Campus, a publicly owned campus established in 1987 is the largest and the oldest educational center for higher education located in Vyas municipality, ward no.1 of Tanahu district. Located at 150 km west of Kathmandu and just 50 km east of Pokhara. The campus was established with an aim to provide quality education to the students all at a local level. Aadikavi Bhanubhakta campus has been successfully running various educational programs and people of marginalized and disadvantaged community are highly benefiting from this campus. This institution has been of a great benefit and support for the students belonging to the disadvantaged groups or the marginalized and the indigenous communities ever since its establishment.

Aadikavi Bhanubhakta campus has become an ideal choice for the students of Tanahu itself as well as the adjoining districts of Kaski, Syangja, Gorkha and Lamjung. Now, students from the neighboring district such as Syanja, Gorkha, Kaski, Lamjung are also meeting their education need at this campus in a very affordable price. Aadikavi Bhanubhakta campus has been running 10+2 programs in three streams; Management, Humanities and Education. More than 1700 students enroll every year in this campus from intermediate to master level programs and more than 10,000 students have graduated so far from this campus. Aadikavi Bhanubhakta campus is run by Campus Management Committee elected by more than one thousand social workers, academicians, education planners, local donors and representatives of local bodies contributing to the development of the campus. More than 50 teaching staffs and 13 non teaching staffs are currently working in the campus.

Aadikavi Bhanubhakta Campus’ motto, vision and mission are “Excellence with perfect guidance”, “Develop society and nation producing dedicated and competent human resource” and “To fulfill and sustain higher educational need of the society” respectively.

With more than 1500 students enrolling every year, it is quite an achievement that more than 1000 students have already graduated from this campus and are excelling in their respective fields. On an average, the campus enrolls more than seventeen hundred students every year. More than 1000 students have graduated from this campus since its establishment. The Campus Management Committee is elected by more than 1000 general members from various walks of life consisting of academicians, education planners, social workers, local donors and representatives of the local bodies. Aadikavi Bhanubhakta campus has been granted the Quality Assurance and Accreditation (QAA) certificate by the University Grant Commission, Kathmandu, Nepal on December 10, 2013 which also credits to its quality. With utmost cooperation and support from the general public, the institution has more than 50 teaching staff with 13 non-teaching staff committed towards this institution.
