Ayurveda campus is the only center for studying Ayurvedic course in Nepal. It is affiliated to Tribhuvan University (TU). This Campus is the joint effort of Ayurved Vidyalaya and Chikitsalaya along with Institute of Medicine T.U. formed on 1972A.D. The college admits only 30 students every year and the course duration is for Five and half years. It teaches three professional courses of 18 months followed by internship of one year.
This campus provides bachelor degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) and masters MD Kayachikitsa.

Bachelors of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery
Want to study the course equivalent to MBBS? Then, five and half years of course Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery(B.A.M.S) provides an opportunity to gather knowledge from physiology to yoga, microbiology to biochemistry in both theory and practical field. Ayurveda Campus provides the basic doctor course in Ayurveda. Candidates appying should fill up entrance exam form and obtain 50 percent marks to pass the examinations. This degree is also equivalent to MBBS degree.
Ayurveda campus has got library, computer lab and well maintained classes.
Practical labs are there with equipped materials.
College canteen is also available. Sports activities are performed like basketball, cricket, football and many more.
Seminars, guest lecturers and presentations are conducted aty Ayurveda campus throughout the course which helps in building student’s self-confidence and making students eager to gain more knowledge.
Internal assessments and assignments are carried out as well. They help to monitor progress in studies and if some are failing then necessary actions can be carried out to make each of the student capable.
As the course entertains minimum seats each year, there will be peaceful atmosphere during the learning process. Courses are updated for both practical and theory as newer technology is growing.
Internship period separated for one whole year makes in pursuing career in future easily as students will be able to gain so much knowledge in reputed institutions.
Students are eligible for bachelor level at Ayurveda campus if they have passed their higher secondary level (plus two science or equivalent) and secured at least 50 percent in English, physics, biology and chemistry. An entrance exam of 100 marks needs to passesd by the students, including subjects like physics, chemistry, botany, zoology and specific subject. The questions are objective where students should be able find out the correct options and tick. There will be no negative marking in wrong answers. Pass marks to be secured will be 50 percent.
For applying in MD Ayurved at Ayurveda campus, candidates must have passed BAMS or equivalent degree. Candidates also must completed one year of internship which needs to be registered in Nepal Ayurved Council. The fees are very less compared to other private colleges which is only Rs. 32,600 for completing bachelor level.
