Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery
nsu AffiliatedCentral Ayurveda Vidyapeeth offers five years and six months Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery of Nepal Sanskrit University. This program includes one year of rotating internship and this program provides the health science knowledge from Ayurveda which is a primitive medical science practiced since ages. The Ayurveda Doctors from this program will have extensive knowledge and practices of Ayurveda, Yoga, allopathic and naturopathic knowledge. They have studies courses of ayurveda medical sciences such as Rasashastra, Ashtangasangraha, dravyaguna, charaka Samhita, kaumarbhritya, disease pathology and Sanskrit in the core knowledge with gynecology, obstetrics, and physiotherapy as well.
Central Ayurveda Vidyapeeth is situated in Bijauri Tulsipur Dang. It was established with aim of providing qualified and skilled manpower who can treat with ayurveda medicines, yoga and natural healing. The academic program offered by Central Ayurveda Vidyapeeth is Bachelor of Ayurvedic medicine and surgery. The students of this program will be able to facilitate proper Ayurveda healthcare in Nepal. This is also constituent body of Nepal Sanskrit University which was established in 2012. It is also accredited by Nepal Ayurvedic Medical Council. The academic program offered by Central Ayurveda Vidyapeeth incorporates allopathic, yoga, ayurveda and naturopathy.
