College of Information Technology and Engineering also known as CITE College was established in 2000 AD and is in affiliation with Purbanchal University. It has been offering Bachelor’s degrees in the field of Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, and Business Administration. College of Information Technology and Engineering (CITE) offers programs like BCA, BBA, BIT, Bachelor of Electronics and Communication Engineering, and BCE. It is located at Subidhanagar, Tinkune, Kathmandu.

Facilities

The facilities at CITE-College of Information Technology and Engineering are as follows:

• Classrooms are clean and spacious with ICT techniques applied which makes the study process advanced and fruitful.
• Library provides all reading material for academic courses along with daily magazines and research journals.
• Computer lab is available with high-speed internet and the latest software and hardware installed.

Scholarships at CITE College

The scholarships at CITE-College of Information Technology and Engineering are as follows:

• Entrance topper and board topper will be receiving full scholarships at CITE, College of Information Technology and Engineering.
• Partial scholarships are also available for individuals securing a minimum of first division in aggregate plus two levels. Distinction holders are provided full scholarships at CITE.
• Needy and deserving candidates with low economic status are also eligible to apply for grants. University recommendation is required to get a full scholarship and for that, they must apply to PU.

Admission Procedure at CITE

• Candidates securing a minimum of 45% marks in plus two or equivalent level recognized by PU from science streams can apply for information technology and engineering courses at CITE College. Biology groups are also eligible.
• Individuals securing a minimum of 45% marks in plus two or equivalent level from management, education, and arts streams can apply for BBA, BCA, and BIT at CITE College.
• Application forms can be issued from institution desks and students should appear for entrance examination.
• Entrance result is published and candidates are selected according to merit lists.
