Bachelor of Business Studies
TU AffiliatedBachelor of Business Studies is a four year program of Faculty of Management TU at Columbus College. There are five main areas of studies such as Business Communication, Principle of Management, business statistics, micro economics and accounting studies. The study of BBS courses helps students to develop skills and qualifications necessary to function as competent business managers from conceptual knowledge, entrepreneurial capabilities, skills underlying operation and management of organizations.
Bachelor of Business Management
TU AffiliatedColumbus College offers a four year Bachelor of Business Management program of Tribhuvan University. It is divided into eight semesters studying the dynamic business environment from the aspects of critical thinking, decision making, communication, operation and change of the competitive national and global business environment of the modern century with technological advancements.
Bachelor of Computer Application
TU AffiliatedColumbus College offers four years eight semesters Bachelor of Computer Application program of Faculty of Humanities and Social Science. The program is comprehensively designed to provide foundation knowledge of computing and concepts used for common software applications. The study areas of the Bachelor of Computer Application program are computer science, software engineering, Information technology, information security and networking technology. This program allows to develop communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Bachelor of Arts
TU AffiliatedColumbus College Bachelor of Art is a four year program of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Tribhuvan University. It is a broad discipline of liberal science fields such as language, history, culture, media, population, psychology, home science, political science which are career specific. This degree allows one to enter communication and advertising, mass media and journalism, education, humanities, and social service areas of career paths.
Bachelor of Arts in Social work
TU AffiliatedTribhuvan University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Science, four years Bachelor of Art in Social work is running at Columbus College. This program provides knowledge and skills to produce social workers who can improve the lives of people, solve personal and family problems, manage and utilize service systems, and develop self-efficacy in responding to social situations. This program provides introduction to social work, professional scope of social work, social work values and ethics, ethical principles of social work, empowering process and contemporary issues of social work and practice of social work in the learning framework of the course designed by Tribhuvan University.
Master of Business Studies

This program provides knowledge and skills to produce high level competent managers for organizations encouraging entrepreneurship capacities and research capabilities. It provides broad knowledge of business and education principles like finance, marketing, accounting, management, organizational behavior and economics.
+2 Science
NEB AffiliatedColumbus College has two year program Plus 2 Science of the National Examination Board. It is divided into three groups: physical, computer and biological. It provides core knowledge and skills of pure science and applied areas for studying medical, engineering and computer science and technology in undergraduate programs of universities.
+2 Management
NEB AffiliatedIt is a two years program of the National Examination Board which provides foundation concepts of business from the paradigms of planning, organizing, staffing, leading and controlling aspects of business venture operation and goal accomplishments. This program develops theoretical and practical knowledge of business, hotel management, travel and tourism management sectors. It also capacitates in joining junior or entry level managerial job positions in administrative roles of business organization.
+2 Humanities
NEB AffiliatedColumbus College offers the Plus2 Humanities program of the National Examination Board. It provides solid knowledge of human society, culture and their environments. It also helps to develop social skills, analytical, critical thinking and communication skills. It prepares human resources for social and developmental organizations, such as public administration, media, social work fields.
Columbus College is established for providing quality education at the higher secondary and bachelor levels. It is affiliated with the Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) for plus two levels and Tribhuvan University (TU) for a bachelor level of four years. Columbus College offers dedicated, qualified, and experienced faculty members, which helps in giving proper supervision and knowledge to the students. The institution has been successful in its approach by achieving good results in recent years. It is located at Shankhamul Marga, New Baneshwor-10, Kathmandu, Nepal. The facilities at Columbus College are as follows:
- Infrastructural facilities include a library, science laboratory, computer lab, transportation, cafeteria, spacious classrooms, seminar hall, and sports ground.

Admission Procedure at Columbus College
- Students must secure a minimum of first division marks in SLC examinations to apply for plus two science and a minimum of second division to apply for plus two management at Columbus College.
- A minimum of 45% is required in plus two or equivalent level recognized by TU for interested candidates in bachelor level.
- Application form is available at the institution desk and candidates should appear in the entrance exam. The institution then publishes lists of passed students in the entrance exam. Students are elected according to the merit list.
