Deerwalk Institute of Technology is a USA-based software company which is collaborated with Nepalese entrepreneurs. Nepalese and American professionals run this institution to provide quality education to Nepalese society. It gives more emphasis on the practical basis of work along with theory. Students are given the facility to study two non-credit courses, which include Java programming language and English language, for five semesters. Non-credit courses are included so that students can sharpen their skills in an effective way. Learning the Java programming language from the base makes me more skilled in learning any of the programming languages by getting the complex idea of making software applications. It promotes creating new ideas for the project as well as in a professional career. Deerwalk Institute of Technology's (DWIT's) main aim is to provide an excellent facility for studying the IT sector. Hence, college only provides subjects related to information and technology.

Deerwalk also provides training in programming languages, database programming, power workshops, office packages, and basic database training for undergrads. Training refers to non-academic facilities provided by IT training institutions. The duration of the training periods is in months. Charges are applied as per the courses selected by the students. It helps in generating more interest in the field of academic studies related to information and technology.
