Master of Hotel and Hospitality Management
PU AffiliatedGateway College of Professional Studies offers a two years four semesters program Master of Hotel and hospitality Management of Purbanchal University. This program equips with skills and knowledge for high level manpower of the hospitality industry expanding today. It provides knowledge of decision making and leadership skills, independent research and study skills, entrepreneurial skills to take challenges and risk evaluation for hospitality business and international market trends.
Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management
SQA AffiliatedAdvanced Diploma in Hospitality Management is a program offered by Gateway College of Professional studies from Scottish Qualifications Authority Scotland. It is a 21 months program with fifteen months theoretical and practical and six months industrial training. This program has credit transfer to foreign countries in Australia, Hungary, Malaysia, Cyprus, Switzerland and Edinburgh. This program allows students for specialization in the hotel sector in front office, restaurant operations, food and beverage, housekeeping etc.
Diploma in Global Culinary Arts
SQA AffiliatedDiploma in Global Culinary Arts at Gateway College of Professional studies is accredited by Scottish Qualification Authority. It provides theory and practical knowledge of kitchen lab and culinary work experience. It integrates classroom learning with on-the-job experience. It provides skills regarding leadership and responsibility of chef. Study of this program encompasses business, care courses, industry visit, optional course in ice and vegetable carving and report writing and internship works.
Bachelor of Hotel Management
PU AffiliatedGateway College of Professional studies offers a four year Bachelor of Hotel Management program of Purbanchal University. This program provides knowledge and skills of hotel management with one year internship program at seventh and eighth semester, specialization programs in areas of room division, food production, food and beverage service, human resource and marketing areas. This program will provide hotel operations skills, professional handling of hotel and catering operations, assure quality assurance in service and apply cost control measures and become entrepreneurs of small sized hotel and accommodation operations.

Facilities
- The Gateway College of professional studies offers three hotel visits during the entire course of study along with ten to twelve theme practical events.
- Keeping in mind the importance of extra-curricular activities, the academy organizes futsal tournaments, a blood donation program, and parents meeting annually.
- Extra curriculum activities such as Inter-Batch Cocktail Competitions and Taste Test Contests are held to improve the student’s ability in the related field.
- Realizing the importance of educational tours and field trips the Gateway College arranges such trips annually.

Extra Information
Admission Procedure
The number of students for the BHM program in the institution is limited to 40 seats per intake/session. Because of the limited number of seats the candidates applying for admission to Gateway College of Professional Studies have to go through the entrance exam, interview as well as group discussions on the date mentioned by the institute. The selected candidates after the test result will receive an admission offer with an admission deadline. The candidates must submit all the required documents along with the admission fee. The document for the admission process consists of copies of the SLC mark sheet, character certificate from school, transcript, and migration along with provisional and character certificates of intermediate level and citizenship or passport. Also, the candidates have to submit six copies of passport-size and four copies of auto-size photos.
Gateway College of Professional Studies organized seminar on innovative management practices in hospitality industry at the Pearl, Gateway College of Professional Studies complex. Gateway College of Professional Studies falls among top 5 Colleges of Hotel Management studies of Nepal.
