Gokuleshwor Agriculture and Animal Science College

Gokuleshwor Agriculture and Animal Science College (GAASC) is the first community college under Tribhuvan University (TU) to conduct bachelor’s in agriculture. It is situated in a remote area of Baitadi and aims to provide technical education as well as modernize the agricultural sector. Traditional farming is not productive in the modern era, so this institute manages to provide proper skills and techniques to promote modern and innovative tools, techniques, and methodologies.

GAASC is located in a beautiful small valley in Gokuleshwor. At present, this institution has been running the course on the premises of Shree Setigaun Higher Secondary School, but it is in the process of building its infrastructure.

Scholarships at Gokuleshwor College

• Entrance toppers and board toppers are given more emphasis for scholarship.
• Meritious and needy students will also be provided with partial scholarships at GAASC.

Facilities

• Facilities such as Library, clean and spacious classrooms, a lab, a clean and peaceful environment, a sports field, etc are provided by Gokuleshwor Agriculture and Animal Science College.
• Research programs are held regularly, and qualified faculty members provide necessary care and direction.

Admission Procedure

• Students completing plus two or equivalent levels recognized by TU in science discipline securing a minimum of 50% in aggregate are eligible to apply at GAASC.
• Selection is conducted on a merit basis through an entrance examination.
