Bachelor of Architecture

This program provides skills and techniques in building design from knowledge of concepts, plan, specifications and details of drawings on building. This study uses visual and arts medium and covers areas of urban planning, interior design, landscape design, and heritage study to draw more inspirations.
Bachelor of Civil Engineering
TU AffiliatedInstitute of Engineering offers a four year Bachelor of Civil Engineering program of Tribhuvan University. This program provides knowledge of planning, designing, maintenance and construction of physical and natural environments. They can work in infrastructure construction, work in fields of environmental, geotechnical, structural, transportation and water resource engineering. It provides in-depth knowledge and skills of civil Engineering from fluid, soil mechanics, engineering geology, foundation engineering, water supply Engineering, building technology, sanitary, transportation Engineering, hydropower and construction management with project-based skills and knowledge.
Bachelor of Computer Engineering
TU AffiliatedBachelor of Computer Engineering is a four-year, eight semester program of Tribhuvan University Institute of Engineering. This program aims to produce qualified computer engineers from knowledge of electrical engineering, information technology, software systems, information systems, networking internet and intranet knowledge and technical skills. This degree can help to get qualification as software Engineer, system administrator, web developer, database administrator, telecommunication Engineer and Computer and Information Systems Engineer.
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering

The Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University, offers a four-year, eight-semester program for a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. This program provides both theoretical and practical knowledge of machines and their mechanisms, fluid design elements, dynamics, and the transfer of heat and mass-energy, with a focus on mathematical and computer technologies. The program equips students with skills and competencies sought by industries, particularly in automotive, robotics, mobile technology, mechatronics, and electromechanical project layouts.
Bachelor of Industrial Engineering

The Institute of Engineering offers a four-year, eight-semester program with an internship component called the Bachelor of Industrial Engineering. This program covers engineering principles, industry design, and mechanisms used in daily operations. Core topics include energy resources, machine mechanisms, supply chain management, machine design, industry layout and design, manufacturing and production processes, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, industrial law, quality control, and management functions. Graduates gain the competencies to work as manufacturing technicians, industrial mechanics, quality assurance inspectors, industrial designers, electricians, supply chain analysts, and industrial or quality engineers.
Bachelor in Geomatics Engineering

The Institute of Engineering offers a Bachelor of Geomatics Engineering program, a four-year, eight-semester course affiliated with Tribhuvan University. This program provides broad knowledge of geospatial management, land surveying, land administration and law, computation techniques, and professional and social engineering skills. It also includes applied knowledge relevant to geomatics engineering for construction projects. An internship component allows students to gain practical exposure and field-based learning with real-time engineers and technicians.
Under the Institute of Engineering, i.e., IOE, Tribhuvan University has four constituent campuses and ten private colleges.
The four constituent campuses are as follows:
- Pulchowk Campus: Pulchowk Campus is the central campus under IOE and is located in Lalipur District within Kathmandu Valley. This is the most reputed campus under TU in Nepal.
- Purwanchal Campus, previously known as Eastern Region (ERC), is a comprehensive, non-profit engineering institution under IOE.
- Pashchimanchal Campus (Western Region Campus): Established in 2038 BS, this college is a pioneering technical institution in the western region from the government sector.
- Thapathali Campus: It was established in 2029 B.S. as a Technical Training Institute (TTI) and was later renamed Thapathali Campus under Tribhuvan University (T.U.). The college lies in the heart of Kathmandu Valley at Thapathali, near Maitighar.
The other ten private colleges are listed below:
- Advanced College of Engineering and Management: Established in 2000 AD
- Himalaya College of Engineering: The college was commenced in 2000 AD.
- Janakpur Engineering College: It was established in 2063 BS.
- Kantipur Engineering College: The date of establishment was 1998.
- Kathford Engineering College: The college has been teaching since 2003.
- Kathmandu Engineering College: It was established in 1998.
- Khwopa College of Engineering
- Lalitpur Engineering College: The college first initiated its engineering study in 2066 BS.
- National College of Engineering (NCE): This college was established in 2058 BS.
- Sagarmatha Engineering College: It was formed in 2010.
