The International School of Management and Technology (ISMT) was launched in 2011 and offers internationally recognized and cost-effective academic programs with the collaboration of the University of Sunderland, Pearson Edexcel, and ACCA of the United Kingdom. The students in their academic studies get engaged with broader concepts of learning in their classrooms, such as presentations, discussions, project work, and assessments, along with co-curricular activities for the sound academic development of individual students. Students have the option of either completing a degree from Nepal or transferring credits to study among a chain of elite universities in the U.K., USA, and Australia. Also provides innovative facilities with e-libraries, a library, a computer lab, sports facilities, an IT lab, a student lounge, and canteens. ISMT has campuses in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, and Biratnagar. The academic programs of ISMT are the Certified Chartered Accountant course (ACCA), B.Sc. Honors International Tourism and Hospitality Management BHM, B.Sc. Honors Computer Systems and Engineering, and BA (Honors) Business and Management/BBA.
ISMT has academic partnerships with Pearson, the University of Sunderland, and ACCA. The articulation partnerships are with the University of Newcastle, Australia, Southern Cross University, the University of New England, Australian Catholic University, and the University of South Wales, Prifysgol De Cymru. Also offers career guidance and advice. The esteemed faculty of this college is very supportive of students’ academic development. MBA - Master of Business Administration
ACCA
The ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) was formed in 1904 and it is a worldwide recognized professional accountancy course and also sheds focus on Management. It is based on internal accounting and auditing standards as compliance with International Federation of Accountants. This course is grouped into Applied Knowledge level, fundamental level and strategic Professional level. The subjects in their curriculum are Business and technology, Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, corporate law, performance Management, taxation, financial reporting, Audit and Assurance, Financial Management, Strategic Business leader, strategic business reporting and choice of any two optional subjects in Advanced Financial Management, Advanced taxation, advanced performance Management and Advanced audit and assurance. The students to qualify must complete 13 exams, online ethics and professional skills Module (EPSM) and completion of three years practical experience requirement.
BA (Hons) Business and Management
BA (Honors) Business and Management equip students with knowledge and soft skills for managing the day to day functions and operations of modern business environment. The course structure is diverse with Management issues and themes. This is three years course and it helps to pave career paths in business fields as Entrepreneur, Business Analyst, Business Development manager, project Manager, marketing incharge, HR officer etc. This programs offers British Degree from University of Sunderland. It also allows credit transfers at Universities and Colleges of Australia, UK and USA. This program is available at Kathmandu, Pokhara.
ISMT Scholarships criterias:
Awarded 75 percent marks and above in Plus2 OR Equivalent and qualified in interview are provided 15 percent waiver in tuition fee in the first year.
Awarded 65 percent or above in Plus2 or equivalent and qualified for interview awarded 10 percent waiver in tuition fee in first year.
BSc (Hons) International Tourism And Hospitality Management
The Bachelor of Science (Honors) International tourism and hospitality Management BHM at ISMT College is delivered from BTEC HND of University of Sunderland. It is three years program with 360 credit hours total studies. It provides thorough understanding of hospitality industry and gives focus on planning and managing event, food and beverage production, service delivery, accomodations and Front office operations. This degree is conducive for jobs in Travel and tour industry, airlines, Restaurant, resorts, Lodges and Hotels, entrepreneurship ventures.This program is offered by ISMT at Kathmandu and Chitwan.
Scholarships are awarded for students who have 75 percent mark or above and qualify in intreview in Plus 2 or equivalent will have15 percent waiver as ISMT merit award. Those who score 65 percent mark or above in Plus 2 and qualify for interview will have 10 percent waiver as ISMT award.
BSc (Hons) Computer Systems Engineering
B.Sc.(Honors) Computer Systems Engineering at ISMT delivered by BTECH HND from University of Sunderland United Kingdom. This program provides focus on Software Engineering, Networking, Data Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Android Mobile Development and Information systems. It is three years program of 360 total credit hours. It has options for selecting stream of Network Engineer or Software Engineer.
This program opens career doors as Cloud System Architecture, Computer Network Architect, Computer Systems Analyst, IT Analyst, Senior Programmer Analyst, Web designer, systems designer etc.
