MA Rural Development
TU AffiliatedMaster of Arts is a two years four semesters program of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Tribhuvan University. MA in rural development program at Kalika Multiple Campus is a program that provides knowledge of socio cultural, economic and environmental factors contributing to change in rural areas. It produces cadres of higher level rural developers in the nation. In this program the key topics which students learn are development theories and planning, rural urban linkage, social and cultural dimensions, policies and strategies, local governance and political economy, rural marketing, sustainable rural development, natural resource management, cooperative development, research methodologies, tourism for rural development, agriculture and development, climate change and livestock strategies in the spread of four semesters of two years study program. Also, thesis work is compulsory part of studies and completions.
Master of Business Studies
TU AffiliatedKalika Multiple Campus offers two years four semesters Master of Business Studies program of Tribhuvan University. This program helps to meet the higher-level managers demand of organizations in functional areas of management. It provides specialized knowledge in areas of accounting, marketing, finance, and general management. It also allows them to develop research skills and entrepreneurial abilities. Students are also immersed with knowledge of international business. Dissertation work in the area of specialized study is compulsory to present for the successful completion of this program.
Bachelor of Business Studies
TU AffiliatedKalika Multiple Campus offers a four years Bachelor of Business Studies program of Tribhuvan University. This program provides knowledge of reality based skills underlying operations and management of organizations. It provides conceptual knowledge of business and administration, encouraging entrepreneurial abilities. Students of BBS learn concepts of economics, management, marketing, business communication, business environment strategy, business law, entrepreneurship and enterprise development, finance, business research methods.
Bachelor of Arts - Four Years
TU AffiliatedKalika Multiple Campus offers a four-year Bachelor of Arts program under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. This program provides broader knowledge of liberal arts, social science fields from study of language, anthropology, geography, history, sociology, psychology, economics, rural development, culture, social work, film studies, linguistic and population studies. This qualification can lead to job portals in government, and public service professions like arts teacher, curator, publisher, researcher, journalism, program officer etc.
Bachelor of Education
TU AffiliatedKalika Multiple Campus offers a Bachelor of Education program of four years at Tribhuvan University. It is an undergraduate program which prepares students to work as teachers in schools. It offers knowledge in a variety of subjects like Nepali education, English education, Mathematics, Science, health and physical, population, history, geography, economics, political science. It allows students to choose their specializations in major and minor courses for taking up their study further into professional competency.
Kalika Multiple Campus is a community campus in eastern part of Pokhara valley. This Campus has amiable learning environment and provides broad learning opporunities in different areas for industrial requirements. It is Certified by University Grants Commissions and will soon receive QAA accreditations. It runs Plus2 programs in Science, Management, Humanities and Education and Bachelor level programs B.A., BBS, BEd and MA MBS programs of Tribhuvan University. Kalika Multiple Campus provides proper and comprehensive facilities and high quality education from well qualified and experienced Faculty. It is first campus to run Master of Art in Rural development program of Tribhuvan University alongside other Plus2, Bachelor and Master programs in business, education, humanities disciplines.
