Kathmandu University School of Law is one of the academic programs of Kathmandu University. It was established in December 2013 in the Dhulikhel Municipality of Kavre Palanchowk District. It has trained competitive and socially responsible professionals. The School of Law at KU has established linkages with the Nepal Bar Council in its development and institutionalization process. It offers various Bachelor and Master level Law programs like LLM in Energy and Infrastructure Law, BBM LLB, Bachelor of Economics Bachelor of Law, and Master by Research and Study Abroad programs. Apart from this, Kathmandu University School of Law also provides personalized career services.

Principal Message
The School of Law is the seventh and latest school of Kathmandu University. It was established in 2014 as a high-quality law school that prepares students for admission to the bar along with responsible participation in the legal profession. It provides proper development for the legal profession in Nepal. It helps to meet changing requirements of time at focus in areas like ongoing academic and professional debates, public discussion, and media reports. Our students get excellent training to become good lawyers and meet the emerging needs of legal areas in society. Our programs emphasize academic rigor, professional ethics, and the practice of lawyering to become successful legal graduates.

Admission Process
All the candidates (both Nepalese and non-Nepalese) who wish to study integrated bachelor of business management, Bachelor in Law BBM, or LLB courses must have passed (10+2) or intermediate degree with a minimum 50% aggregate or CGPA of 2 on the scale of 4 from renown institutions or boards recognized by Kathmandu University. Candidates who have passed their intermediate exams and are waiting for results are also eligible to apply to Kathmandu University School of Law.
