After the dynamic success of two decades, KU (Kathmandu University) is now set to provide quality education towards the field of Law as Kathmandu University School of law(KUSL). Lawyer profession is considered as one of the most respected profession in our country. The people of the society look up to the lawyers in a believe that they would be provided with justice, which is only possible through a good, skilled and thoughtful lawyer.
Kathmandu University School of law is determined to make skilled and tactical lawyers who will be able to tackle different prosecutions and public demands. With changing times and ideologies, the public demands regarding better law and order for the country also seems to be changing so we are determined to produce such lawyers who would be able to adapt with such changing environment and requirements of law and order.
The students will be taught by a group of skilled and experienced faculty members at Kathmandu University School of law. Our faculty also includes the group of members who have already worked in the field of law and jurisdiction. They are expert in legal areas of constitutional law, corporate law to criminal law, property development to public interest law and many more.
In the coming years Kathmandu University School of law is determined to provide many courses regarding the law and are also expecting a variety of intellect law subjects like constitutional law, energy law, international law, society studies etc. There will also be summer programmes arranged by the school of law to benefit the undergraduatestudents where they will be visiting District courts and District Attorney Offices of different parts of the country. However this programme will be taken in progress depending upon the uninterrupted progress in academic calendar.

The school of law is also concerned about the well being of deserving candidates from the rural backgrounds who are capable of achieving wonders. The school will also be organizing programmes for such students to fund their education.
Kathmandu University School of law will also be providing financial aid to the students through various international donors working in Nepal and other public and private agencies and organizations willing to fund the program.
KUSL has a library with regard to the need of the law students. Here they can find different types of books and journals regarding the law and order of our country. The students can be aware about the arising conflicts regarding jurisdiction and can also read about many more journals and books written by the professionals of law. Students will also be familiar with the rules and regulations declared by the interim constitution of our country and are blessed with some additional knowledge of our country.
All the students (both Nepalese and non Nepalese ) who wish to study integrated bachelor of business management , Bachelor in Law BBM, LLB courses must have passed (10+2) or intermediate degree with minimum 50% aggregate or CGPA of 2 on the scale of 4 from renown institution or Boards recognized by Kathmandu University. The students who have passed their intermediate exams and are waiting for results are also eligible for applying at Kathmandu University School of law.
As the classes are running from the 1st of September of this year, so the interested candidates are required to apply as early as possible. The application forms are available at the school that can be collected at the school hour and form are also available at our website. Candidates are informed to submit the application on time before the assigned deadline.
