Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program offered by Kathmandu University (KU) is accompanied by one year of internship training. The total duration of this degree is four and a half years. The criteria and standards embraced by KU strictly adhere to the requirements set by the Nepal Medical Council.

The degree program is divided into three parts: The first two years of study focus on primary medical sciences and introduce students to clinical sciences. In the subsequent two and a half years, they learn the skills and principles of clinical medicine. During the final year, they undergo an internship program.

Entrance Test:
