Manilek Secondary School offers two years Plus2 in the Civil Engineering program of the National Examination Board from technical education requirements. This program provides knowledge to produce a middle level technical workforce from the study in planning and designing highways, bridges, utilities, and other major infrastructure projects. It provides compulsory courses of English, Nepali, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics with civil engineering knowledge and skills from topics of geo technical engineering, road construction material and testing, structural analysis and RCC design, maintenance and rehabilitation of structures.

Manilek Secondary School offers a three year Diploma in Agriculture plant science program of CTEVT. This program aims to prepare middle level agriculture technicians to manage farms and work in agri business. It provides technical aspects of knowledge in agriculture, horticulture, plant protection, along with community development and entrepreneurship. The key knowledge areas are agriculture extension and community development, agribusiness management and cooperative practices of agronomy, soil management, post-harvest technology, commercial vegetable production, plant breeding and seed production technology, ornamental horticulture and nursery management.
