When their plane from Los Angeles to New York is grounded on the morning of September 11, 2001, strangers Elliott (Joe Purdy) and Joni (Amber Rubarth) are unexpectedly thrust together amidst the chaos of that historic day. The shock and stress of 9/11 quickly threatens to derail their cross country journey until the pair discovers what they do have in common: a love for old folk songs.

Mangalam, the film will be made in the banner of Chhabiraj Production and is being produced by actress Shilpa Pokharel. Shilpa herself will be seen in the opposite role Pushpal Khadka in the film. Mithila Sharma will be seen in the lead role and the film floored from first week of Magh.

 

 

BUTTERFLY

Butterfly is directed by Om Pratik which also features Arpan Thapa in lead role. Alongside Adhikari and Karki, Butterfly, a romantic-action comedy, will feature actors Sushma Karki, Rabindra Khadka, Surbir Pandit, and Mohan Niraula, among others. The film is produced jointly by Pushpanjali Adhikari, Ramsharhan Rana and Bhupendra Subedi. Butterfly will hit theatres on January 12.
