National College of Food Science and technology is in Lainchour, Kathmandu. It is a constituent body of NIST foundation. It was started by group of scientist and academicians for science and technology quality education and promotion in the Country. It equips students knowledge, skills to face boldly the global challenges of 21st century. It currently offers Bachelor of Technology Food technology which is four years program affiliated to Tribhuvan University. It has been approved by University Grants Commissions.  This program prepares students of National College of Food Science and Technology to meet the challenges for quality and safety management in export and emerging customers trends from food technology and culinary experiences. National College of Food Science and technology has proper infrastructures, labs, and professional experts from food industries who are teaching the academic program for Bachelor level students.
