Nepal Film Campus

Nepal Film Campus was established in 2018 by award-winning film industry professionals and experienced academicians.  We offer a passionately curated 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Film Studies (BFS) affiliated with Tribhuvan University. NFC helps in making an effective path to an incredible career in cinema, television, theater, and digital media. We help to turn creativity and raw energy into practical skills that the competitive world of the entertainment industry demands today. Courses are career-focused and application-oriented.

Our goal is to produce experienced and prominent directors who have hands-on practical experience and are mentored by international and national cinema professionals. This course covers directing and screenwriting, acting, cinematography, editing, and sound production and design.

Additional Information

Nepal Film Campus is a full-time study where a minimum of 80% attendance is required, but at the same time, students are encouraged to work in the industry and gain experiences as well as skills along with an academic degree. Nepal is in a quick process of digitalization, so there are lots of job opportunities after the completion of courses like editing, sound production, and cinematography.

There are no other courses available to students who are creatively interested in cinema and media other than BFS. Nepali cinema is growing and increasing. It has national and international markets. Making a film is a profession now and has huge possibilities for making it a business. All categories of students can join our campus, no matter if they are fresh, passed out, or left their studies after +2 and are now interested. We believe that age should not be a barrier to learning and growth.
