Norvic Institute of Nursing Education (NINE) located at Maharajgunj, Kathmandu, Nepal is a sister organization of Norvic International Hospital. It was established in December 2009 to produce qualified healthcare professionals capable to meet people’s needs. This is the only ISO 9001:2008 Certified Institution in Nepal where students are offered education in a friendly surroundings which enables them to grow professionally. Norvic Institute of Nursing Education is affiliated with Purbanchal University and Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). Currently, the institution is offering Posts of Basic Bachelor Nursing (PBBN), Proficiency Certificate level (PCL) nursing, and B.Sc. Nursing Programs. The main vision of this institution is to play an important role in healthcare education and be globally recognized as the best healthcare institute.

Academics programs:

PCL Nursing:

Norvic Institute of Nursing Education offers this three-year program affiliated with the Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) under the Nepal Nursing Council. This institute intakes only forty students per year. The PCL nursing program is for those candidates who want to take a leadership role and function independently in providing health care to patients in the hospital and community. Candidate must appear in the Entrance Examination conducted by CTEVT and pass S.L.C/SEE with a minimum of 45% in aggregate with Science, English, and Mathematics.

Post Basic Bachelor of Nursing (PBBN):

This three-year Post-Basic Bachelor of Nursing course is affiliated with Purbanchal University under Nepal Nursing Council. Here at NINE, only forty students are taken in a year for this course. The objective of this program is to produce skilled manpower capable of handling the worst situations individually by judging and making the right decision. The candidates can pursue their careers as a supervisor, teachers, and managers at health organizations. Candidate must have completed Proficiency certificate Level in Nursing from the universities or institutes acknowledged by Nepal Nursing Council and have acquired minimum second division.  

Bachelor of Science in Nursing:

Norvic Institute offers a four-year Bachelor of Science in a nursing program affiliated with Purbanchal University. This program consists of twenty-four courses including Mental Health Nursing, Advanced Nursing Practice, Biochemistry, Educational Science, Anatomy, Applied Computer Technology, etc. This program helps to produce skilled and professional nurses by providing theoretical and practical based knowledge to fulfill the need of the health institute. To be eligible for this program students must complete an intermediate level in sciences or ten plus two (+2) with major subjects like Chemistry, Physics, Math, English, and Biology, and secure a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate.
