Pokhara Nursing Campus is established to provide quality and advance study in Nursing from 2039 B.S. since then it has been upgrading its course in PCL and CMA program. It conducts programs for diploma, under graduate and graduate level which are all affiliated to Tribhuvan University (TU). The results are far better than expected and it has been upgrading its facilities too. Experienced, dedicated and motivated faculty members are running the courses in an effective way and proper guidance.

Scholarships at Pokhara Nursing Campus

Entrance, board and yearly course topper are awarded with full scholarship. There is also provision for students with low economic background to apply for scholarship at Pokhara Nursing Campus. Distinction holders and students passing with better first division marks also have provisions for partial scholarship.

Facilities

Proper and well maintained facilities are provided. Pokhara Nursing Campus is using nearby hospital for practical courses which have well-equipped regional laboratory. Library provides text books, research and magazines. Sports activities like basketball, table tennis and badminton can be done. Internal assessments, assignments and presentation are done on a regular basis at Pokhara Nursing. Students are supervised and trained for achieving good grades. Transportation and canteen is also provided. Workshops, group discussions and visits are also conducted by Pokhara Nursing Campus to improve extra skills. Internship are provided in reputed hospitals. Seminars and guest lecturers from high post in health services are organized to motivate in securing better knowledge in future.

Admission Procedure

  • Candidates securing minimum marks of 50 in SLC in subjects like English, Science and Mathematics are eligible to apply for diploma PCL  at Pokhara Nursing Campus. They must appear in entrance exam and pass it too.
  • They are eligible for bachelor in Nursing if they have secured minimum of 50 percent in PCL or equivalent level recognized by TU. Also should have experience of one year after registration in NNC.
  • Students are eligible for master level after they have completed their bachelor degree recognized by TU with minimum of second division and two years of work experiences after registration in Nepal Council. Students should appear in entrance exam and also pass the exam with minimum of 50 percent. Admission will be on merit basis at Pokhara Nursing Campus.
