Pokhara Nursing Campus was established to provide quality and advanced study in nursing in 2039 B.S. Since then, it has been upgrading its courses in the PCL and CMA programs. It conducts diploma programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and graduate levels, which are all affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU). The results are far better than expected, and it has been upgrading its facilities too. Experienced, dedicated, and motivated faculty members are running the courses in an effective way with proper guidance.

Scholarships at Pokhara Nursing Campus

Entrance, board, and yearly course winners are awarded full scholarships. There is also provision for students with low economic backgrounds to apply for scholarships at Pokhara Nursing Campus. Distinction holders and students passing with better first division marks also have provisions for partial scholarships.

Facilities

Proper and well-maintained facilities are provided. Pokhara Nursing Campus is using a nearby hospital for practical courses, which has a well-equipped regional laboratory. The library provides text books, research, and magazines. Sports activities like basketball, table tennis, and badminton can be done. Internal assessments, assignments, and presentations are done on a regular basis at Pokhara Nursing. Students are supervised and trained to achieve good grades. Transportation and a canteen are also provided. Workshops, group discussions, and visits are also conducted by Pokhara Nursing Campus to improve extra skills. Internships are provided in reputed hospitals. Seminars and guest lecturers from high positions in health services are organized to motivate and secure better knowledge in the future.

Admission Procedure

  • Candidates securing minimum marks of 50 in SLC in subjects like English, Science, and Mathematics are eligible to apply for the diploma PCL at Pokhara Nursing Campus. They must appear in the entrance exam and pass it too.
  • They are eligible for a bachelor in nursing if they have secured a minimum of 50 percent in PCL or an equivalent level recognized by TU. Also, you should have experience of one year after registration in NNC.
  • Students are eligible for master level after they have completed their bachelor degree recognized by TU with a minimum of second division and two years of work experience after registration with the Nepal Council. Students should appear for the entrance exam and pass the exam with a minimum score of 50 percent. Admission will be on a merit basis at the Pokhara Nursing Campus.
