Faculty of Humanities and Social Science in Purbanchal University (PU) has started the master program in regional development planning and management for student who wants to learn more about the development strategies within various urban and rural communities. This program combines theories and strategies, implementation and monitoring tools with practice orientated study aiming to flourish the plan and programs in different region.

The total duration of this degree offered by the Purbanchal University (PU) is two years. This degree is based on semester system and has been divided into altogether four semesters in total. This course focuses on the development planning and its management in various cities, industrial area, transportation networks, farmlands, and its uses etc. This degree combines both theory and practical lessons along with internships/ workshops.
