Ratna Rajya Laxmi Campus, often known as RR, is associated with Tribhuvan University. It provides programs for bachelor's and master's degree programs in the arts. It is one of Nepal's oldest universities and provides degrees at a low cost. Faculty members are primarily university academics with extensive expertise in their respective professions.

RR provides a Bachelor of Arts (BA) (3-year) program under the bachelor's degree and a Master of Arts in Population Studies, Journalism and Mass Communication, Sociology and Anthropology, English, and Nepali programs under the master's degree.

Ratna Rajya Laxmi Campus is one of the most well-known humanities colleges in the country. This college is located on Pradarsani Marg in Kathmandu, Nepal. It has morning, day, and night sessions and provides competency certificate, undergraduate, and graduate-level programs. The college is reasonably priced and has a wide range of amenities.

Scholarships at RR Campus

Candidates can apply for a scholarship by filling out a form, and the college committee will determine whether or not to award a scholarship in the form of tuition fees to meritorious and needy scholars. The board winner will receive a full scholarship at RR Campus.

Principal Message

The RR Campus Chief, Dr. Nirmala Kumari Suwal, says that there are six programs of Humanities currently running in its morning, day, and night shifts. The number of students in the Sociology and Education faculty is decreasing in day shift classes. The management board has been discussing the issue and for now, they have decided to give admission to the interested applicants in the day shift and if the number of applicants exceeds, they will again hold a meeting. The college is intending to add MA in Economics, BSW course, music specialization courses, psychology specialization courses, and journalism specialization courses such as photography, radio journalism, television journalism, etc. as per the need of the students.

Admission Procedure

  • Applicants must secure a minimum of pass marks in plus two or equivalent level recognized by TU in any streams to apply for a bachelor's.
  • Applicants must secure a minimum of 45 percent in bachelor level of any streams recognized by TU to apply for master level.
