Shiva Jan Secondary School

Shiva Jan Secondary School is one of the oldest schools in Salyan District. The School was established in the year 2016 BS in the reign of Late King Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev for enlightening the way of Education for children in Salyan. Initially the institution was named as Shiva Jan Primary School. Primary Education started in Shiva Jan from 2035 BS. Later Secondary Level Education was introduced in 2050 BS. Higher Secondary Education was added in the Curriculum in the year 2056 BS. Further Diploma courses along with I.Sc.Ag. (Plant Science) was introduced in 2072 BS. Currently Shiva Jan offers many Diploma level courses such as I.Sc.Ag. Plant Science, Pre Diploma PJTA and Pre Diploma VJTA affiliated under Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). It is planning to add Animal Science and B.Sc.Ag. in their Curriculum in the near future.

Shiva Jan Secondary School also offers Plus Two (+2) programs in Management, Education, Education Science, Law and Humanities affiliated to National Examinations Board (NEB).
