About us:
Sikkim Manipal University was established in 1992 through the agreement between Government of Sikkim and Manipal Pai Foundation. It is also first ever Public private partnership in higher education and health care services and have its own two major Campuses Medical Campus and Technology Campus. It has been recognized by University Grants Commission and approved by Government of India. The regulatory bodies are some prominent names like Medical Council of India MCI, Nursing Council of India, Indian Association of Physiotherapy, All India Council for technical education and Distance Education Council. The Chancellor of this University is The Governer of Sikkim Sri Ganga Prasad and Pro Chancellor Lt. Gen. Dr. M.D Venkatesh.
