Principal Message

The Chairman (Mr.Lekhi Raj Limbu) himself believes in the motto “Technical Education Today’s Necessity” with the aim of building the bright career for students pursuing degree in a specified field.

At first, the college was running two programs like Lab Assistant and ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery) which is affiliated to CTEVT (The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training). Looking back to the day of the establishment, the college has been developing at its own pace. Now, the college has come up with 15 programs under one roof with one Master program associated with TU (Tribhuvan University). There are three Bachelor Program affiliated to TU along with 6 TSLC (Technical School Leaving Certification) and five diploma programs affiliated to CTEVT. The chairman believes that the student will discover their interest in the specialized field where students can get qualification leading into career, job promotion or for further education.

Why Sunsari Technical College ?

The Sunsari Technical School (STS) has converted its name to Sunsari Technical College (STC) which is located at Dharan and it is affiliated to TU (Tribhuvan University) and CTEVT (Technical School Leaving Certification) which was established in 2052 B.S. with the objective of delivering quality technical education and vocational training.

The college has been the best place for the local as well as students from outside the country. The country has built more than 1500 technical manpower and financed the economic growth of their family as well as it also aids in the country’s economic advancement.

The students studying in STC have got well-paid job in local and national as well as international market. The STC has been a proved to be the best option and station for the technical education as well as the target for students all over the country. The college provides a peaceful teaching and learning environment.

The Campus Chief (Mr. Amit Kumar Gupta) of STC believes that all the courses modified to meet the national and international standards and higher studies. The college campus chief is also the pharmacy program coordinator. The college also delivers different of ECAs (Extra Curricular Activities) for making the student to gain creativity and knowledge. The college also administers the   B.Tech Food program in association with the Tribhuvan University (TU).As provided the college runs B.Tech as the only college to start in this region.

Being a private college in Eastern Region in Nepal, who first started B.Pharm Programme and one of the first to start B.Tech Food Programme with the affiliation of Tribhuvan University(T.U.). We are also running M.Sc Microbiology Programme from this year.
