Swastik College, one of the most reputed Schools of Computer Science and Application, was established in the year 2013 AD. The college is located in the religious city of Bhaktapur near Madhyapur Thimi. Currently, Swastik offers bachelor's degree courses such as Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc CSIT) and Bachelor of Arts in Computer Application (BCA). It has also engaged investment from a top FinTech company in Nepal, F1Soft.

To develop the college into a hub of Computer Science and Information Technology, both theoretically and practically, to pass on knowledge to the next generation and to advance as an internationally known academic institution.

BSc Computer Science and Information Technology

Swastik College offers a four-year eight-semester Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology program in affiliation with Tribhuvan University. It is a 126-credit-hour program. This course touches on underlying foundations and areas of computer science and information technology applied fields. It also comes with internship work and cent percent job placements for each student by the college administrations. It also features market oriented certified courses such as PHP, CCNA, Android Apps Development and Java for the students of this course. It offers intensive knowledge in theory, design, application and programming areas and functional fields of hardware and software systems. It also delves into a full-fledged study of computer systems, database, artificial intelligence, software Engineering, .net Computing, data warehouse and data mining, and architectures of IT.
 

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)

Swastik College offers a Bachelor of Computer Application program in four years with eight semesters from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. It is a total of 126 credit hours of study. The program integrates social science, management, computer technology, mathematics, language, and project-based learning as the backbone of this program. BCA program aims to produce high-end computer users and application developers. Graduates of BCA can work in professional areas as Computer System Analyst, IT officers, Network and Computer Systems Administrators, Web developers, etc.
