Tikapur Polytechnic Institute (TPI) was established in 2009 AD (2066 BS) as a private technical college affiliated to Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). The Institute is located in Tikapur, Kailali District 15 KM south of Lamki Bazar on the East-west Highway. It offers diploma-level programs in Diploma in Agriculture (Plant Science), Diploma in Agriculture (Veterinary Science) and Diploma in Civil Engineering. It has been providing quality technical education to their Students with moderate fee structure.

Tikapur Polytechnic Institute (TPI) aims at contributing to quality enhancement of the Agriculture sector through wide varieties of Technical education and vocational training in the Sudurpaschim region of Nepal to produce a competent and confident middle-level Agricultural workforce required for the modernization and development of Agriculture in Nepal.
